CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS REPORT: Stewart Brooks let the Board know he, Health Officer Gladys Swett and EMT Stephen Cummings went to investigate the complaint on the hoarder in the Advent Campground last Wednesday. The gentleman would not open the door to them. Steve Cummings wrote a letter saying he thinks it is a fire hazard and Gladys Swett wrote a letter saying she believes it is a health hazard.
Stewart said he can write a notice giving him a certain amount of time to clean it up, and asked what direction the Board would like to go in. Stewart is not sure to what extent the Town can be involved as it is private property and the land belongs to the campground association. Selectmen decided the first step should be to obtain a copy of their bylaws and go from there. Stewart stated he will try to get a copy of their bylaws.
