Guests Present: Deputy Mark Lloyd, Glennis McSorley and Toby Pelletier, Danny Vallencourt of B&B Paving, Lloyd Hopkins of Hopkins Landscaping, Jeff Mullis of Pike Industries, Eric Martin of Wellman Paving, Ed Nason of Lane Construction and Bobby Noyes of R&R Lumber Co.
7:30 PM: Suzan Rudnicki called the meeting to order.
NEW BUSINESS:
Open Paving Bids: Selectmen opened the following bids for the 2017 paving projects:

Hopkins Landscaping & Paving 232,517.90
Wellman Paving 249,206.03
Pike Industries 282,480.80
Lane Construction 344,649.00
Kevin Howell stated there was an error in the total surface tons in the bid from B&B Paving, and recommended Hopkins Landscaping based on the price per ton, which is lower than B&B Paving's price per ton. Jared Fitts made a motion to accept Hopkins' bid in the amount of $232,517.90. Earlyn Bowers seconded. Three voted in favor.
MINUTES: Jared Fitts made a motion to accept the minutes of April 24, 2017 as written. Earlyn Bowers seconded. Three voted in favor.
TOWN MGR/TAX COLLECTOR/CODE ENF OFFICER/RD COMM. REPORT:
1. The Town Manager gave the treasurer's report as of April 30, 2017.
2. Kevin gave Selectmen copies of flower urns to choose from. Earlyn Bowers made a motion to purchase the 29" Travertine urns for $89.98 each. Jared Fitts seconded. Three voted in favor.
NEW BUSINESS:
Ambulance Billing Policy: Tabled until the next meeting on May 22nd.
New Recycling Container: Kevin let the Board know he moved one of the video cameras to cover the silver bullet recycling container in our parking lot, and is having electrician Kain Burgoyne come to give us a price on installing a light for it.
School Administrative District Budget Election: Earlyn Bowers made a motion to approve and sign the Town of Carmel District Referendum Election Warrant. Jared Fitts seconded. Three voted in favor.
Kevin said the Superintendent will be at the next meeting to go over the proposed budget.
R&R Lumber - Bobby Noyes - Winter Plowing Contract: Kevin explained that Bobby Noyes has asked for 5% increase in the contract, from $152,105.00 to 159,710.00. After discussion, Earlyn Bowers made a motion to go with the 5% increase for next winter's plowing. Jared Fitts seconded. Three voted in favor.
WARRANT: Earlyn Bowers made a motion to accept the payroll warrant of May 1, 2017 in the amount of $5,466.24. Jared Fitts seconded. Three voted in favor.
WARRANT: Earlyn Bowers made a motion to accept the payroll warrant of May 8, 2017 in the amount of $5,473.33. Jared Fitts seconded. Three voted in favor.
WARRANT: Earlyn Bowers made a motion to accept the payroll warrant of May 8, 2017 in the amount of $197,766.04. Jared Fitts seconded. Three voted in favor.
OTHER BUSINESS: Selectmen's Meeting Schedule: Suzan Rudnicki made a motion to move Board of Selectmen meetings to the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Jared Fitts seconded. Three voted in favor.
