7:30 PM: Suzan Rudnicki called the Selectmen’s meeting to order.
MINUTES: Daniel Frye made a motion to accept the minutes of July 26, 2021 as written Jared Fitts seconded. Five voted in favor.
NEW BUSINESS:
Certify Moratorium Ordinance: Town Manager Kevin Howell gave Selectmen the Planning Board’s report on the public hearing held on July 22nd. After discussion and reviewing the report, Daniel Frye made a motion to approve the certification of the moratorium ordinance to be voted on at a special town meeting on August 16th. Jared Fitts seconded. Five voted in favor.
Special Town Meeting Warrant: Jared Fitts made a motion to sign the Special Town Meeting warrant for August 16, 2021, to be held at the Golden Harvest Grange Hall. Isaac Raymond seconded. Five voted in favor.
2021 Paving: Kevin said he had met with Vaughn Thibodeau, and they will begin paving the week of September 6, 2021.
Damascus Landing: The Town Manager gave an update on improvements that have been made at Damascus Landing and said Doug Small donated four recreation benches, which will be at the landing and at the rec field complex.
WARRANT: Jared Fitts made a motion to accept the payroll warrant of August 2, 2021 in the amount of $11,618.65. Daniel Frye seconded. Five voted in favor.
WARRANT: Jared Fitts made a motion to accept the accounts payable warrant of July 26, 2021. in the amount of $207,222.61. Daniel Frye seconded. Five voted in favor.
ADJOURNMENT: Sue Rudnicki made a motion to adjourn. Dan Frye seconded. Five voted in favor. Meeting adjourned at 7:55 pm.
