Regular Meeting (02-03-2020)

Selectmen Present:                Douglas Small, John Luce and Isaac Raymond

7:30 PM:  John Luce called the meeting to order.

MINUTES:  Douglas Small made a motion to accept the minutes of January 27, 2020 as written. Isaac Raymond seconded.  Three voted in favor.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

2020 Town Meeting Warrant:  The Selectmen and Town Manager went over the proposed warrant for the 2020 annual town meeting.  Isaac Raymond made a motion to accept the warrant as written.  Douglas Small seconded.  Three voted in favor.

 

Spirit of America Resolution/Annual Report Dedication:  Kevin Howell and the Selectmen went over the items in this week’s packet, including the Spirit of America/annual report dedication.  The award will be presented at the Town Meeting on March 2, 2020.  Kevin asked the Board to be thinking about whether they would like to have a plaque made that could be updated each year with the recipient’s name.

 

Ambulance Billing/Receivables:  The Town Manager gave an update on ambulance billing and receipts, and said it is going very well.

 

RSU 87 Warrant and Notice of Election:  Isaac Raymond made a motion to sign the RSU 87 Referendum Warrant and Notice of Election for March 3, 2020.  Douglas Small seconded.  Three voted in favor. 

 

WARRANT:  Isaac Raymond made a motion to accept the payroll warrant of February 3, 2020 in the amount of $9,805.76.  Doug Small seconded.  Three voted in favor.

WARRANT:  Isaac Raymond made a motion to accept the accounts payable warrant of February 3, 2020 in the amount of $24,634.26.  Doug Small seconded.  Three voted in favor.

 

ADJOURNMENT:  Douglas Small made a motion to adjourn.  Isaac Raymond seconded. Three voted in favor.  Meeting adjourned at 8:07 pm.
