7:30 PM: Suzan Rudnicki called the meeting to order.
MINUTES: John Luce made a motion to accept the minutes of June 24, 2019 as written. Jared Fitts seconded. Four voted in favor.
TOWN MGR/TAX COLLECTOR/CODE ENF OFFICER/RD COMM. REPOR
- The Town Manager let Selectmen know the tax commitment was set last Tuesday and there is no increase over last year, due to a combination of increased assessed value, increased revenue sharing and a lower municipal budget.
- Kevin showed Selectmen the public works safety gear that came in, including short and long-sleeved shirts, hoodies and jackets. The gear was funded from a grant from Maine Municipal Association.
- Kevin gave an update on brush-cutting the public works crew has been doing around town and in the cemeteries, and said the treatments on the cemetery and rec field lawns are working well and the grass is growing great.
WARRANT: John Luce made a motion to accept the payroll warrant of July 1, 2019 in the amount of $10,111.75. Doug Small seconded. Four voted in favor.
WARRANT: John Luce made a motion to accept the accounts payable warrant of July 1, 2019 in the amount of $28,199.80. Doug Small seconded. Four voted in favor.
