7:30 PM: Joshua Devlin called the meeting to order.
MINUTES: John Luce made a motion to accept the minutes of January 28, 2019 as written. Douglas Small seconded. Three voted in favor. Jared Fitts abstained as he was not present for that meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
2019 Town Meeting Warrant: The Town Manager and Selectmen went over the town meeting warrant
- Douglas Small made a motion to approve the 2019 town meeting warrant. John Luce seconded. Four voted in favor.
Annual Report Dedication: Kevin Howell let the Board know he had gotten in touch with Billy Palmer and he is working on an article and a photo for the dedication.
Town Meeting Moderator: Kevin stated he called Paul MacDonald to see if he is interested in being moderator again this year, and he is not. Kevin said he has gotten feedback from a few town managers who said they use attorneys who moderate meetings. Selectmen authorized the town manager to arrange for someone to run for moderator.
Town Lot on Five Road: Kevin asked if Selectmen had any thoughts on what the Town should use its seven-acre lot across from the recreation area on Five Road for. There was discussion of possibilities including using it for hiking/walking/bike riding trails, selling it, expanding the recreation area and parking lot or leave it alone for now. After discussion, it was decided Kevin would take a better look at it in the spring.
WARRANT: John Luce made a motion to accept the payroll warrant of February 4, 2019 in the amount of $7,277.12. Doug Small seconded. Four voted in favor.
WARRANT: John Luce made a motion to accept the accounts payable warrant of February 4, 2019 in the amount of $60,693.51. Doug Small seconded. Four voted in favor.
OTHER BUSINESS: Toby Pelletier said she noticed there are a couple of street lights out on Hampden Road and Five Road. Kevin Howell said he would check them out and let CMP know.
ADJOURNMENT: Jared Fitts made a motion to adjourn. John Luce seconded. Four voted in favor. Meeting adjourned at 8:20 pm.
