Regular Meeting (03-07-2016)

Selectmen Present:                Suzan Rudnicki, John Luce, Earlyn Bowers and Jared Fitts  

Absent:                                   Douglas Small

Town Manager:                    Tom Richmond

Recording Secretary:            Coreen Sylvester

10:20 PM: Suzan Rudnicki called the meeting to order.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

Elect Chairmen:  John Luce made a motion to appoint Suzan Rudnicki as Chairman of the Board and Earlyn Bowers as Vice-Chairman of the Board.  Jared Fitts seconded.  Four voted in favor.

MINUTES:  Voting on the minutes of February 22, 2016 was tabled as there were not enough  members present who attended that meeting.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Town Garage:  There was a short discussion about the new garage that is to be built on the Town Office site.

 

Solid Waste “Meeting Hermon 6:00 Tuesday”:  Tom Richmond reminded Selectmen there is a meeting tomorrow night in Hermon to learn more about options for solid waste disposal.

 

Treasurer’s Report:  The Town Manager gave the treasurer’s report as of February 29, 2016.

 

WARRANT:  John Luce made a motion to accept the full-time fireman’s payroll warrant of February 29, 2016 in the amount of $878.49.  Earlyn Bowers seconded.  Four voted in favor.

WARRANT: John Luce made a motion to accept the payroll warrant of February 29, 2016 in the amount of $5,668.05.  Earlyn Bowers seconded.  Four voted in favor.

WARRANT:  John Luce made a motion to accept the accounts payable warrant of February 29, 2016 in the amount of $31,899.79.  Earlyn Bowers seconded.  Four voted in favor.

WARRANT:  John Luce made a motion to accept the full-time fireman’s payroll warrant of March 7, 2016 in the amount of $878.49.  Earlyn Bowers seconded.  Four voted in favor.

WARRANT: John Luce made a motion to accept the payroll warrant of March 7, 2016 in the amount of $4,043.58.  Earlyn Bowers seconded.  Four voted in favor.

WARRANT:  John Luce made a motion to accept the accounts payable warrant of March 7, 2016 in the amount of $152,303.20.  Earlyn Bowers seconded.  Four voted in favor.

 

ADJOURNMENT:   Sue Rudnicki made a motion to adjourn.  Earlyn Bowers seconded. Four voted in favor.  Meeting adjourned at 10:47 pm.
